She is also survived by the world's two best caregivers Angie and Jo Anne who made the last years of her life more comfortable before her passing. Chris was born in Riverside, California in 1940. She resided in Riverside for her years in school including Riverside Poly High and Riverside City College where she studied music and home economics. Upon marrying John in 1960, she moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota and then on to Seattle, Washington as John pursued graduate studies. She and John moved to Orange County in 1963 where she worked at Security Pacific Bank for a number of years before settling down to raise a family. Professionally, she was an outstanding piano teacher loved by all for her kindness and creative recitals. She later pursued a career as a manicurist and massage therapist. She was actively involved in the Crystal Cathedral Ministries as a member of the Church's handbell choir and for many years was a member of the Marching Handbell Choir which was the lead-off entry in the 1988 Tournament of Roses Parade. They also participated in parades in Canada, Oregon, California and Arizona. She loved to play the piano, the Crystal Cathedral organ and ring handbells. Other interests included roller skating, riding horses, waterskiing and watching tennis at the Indian Wells tennis tournament facility. She truly was the most gentle and kindest person. She was loved by everyone. Chris touched the lives of all around her and we are all so grateful to have known her. She will be deeply missed, but we are grateful that we will see her again in heaven. We love you Mom!
