Daniel Frank Martinez

Danny is survived by his wife Maria and sons Daniel Martinez and Joseph Martinez, his stepchildren: Joe, Jon, Adrian, Robert, and Brian Lucero and Arturo, Sandro and Selina Garcia. Danny was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Devoted son of Frank and Lina Martinez. Beloved brother to Ester (Steven) Sanchez, Clarence (Gloria) Martinez and Gary Martinez. Loved by many nieces and nephews and cousins. Danny was predeceased by his wife Belinda Sue Martinez.

Born and raised in Riverside he graduated from Norte Vista High School in 1969. He was self-employed and owner of DJ Trucking Company for over 40 years. He enjoyed being on the road logging thousands of miles and hauled for Sierra Steel for many years. Danny enjoyed music, sports especially baseball and was an avid Angel fan. Danny was never without his beloved service dog Sappy. In 2017 Danny was a transplant recipient and received a kidney from his niece Kelley Martinez which enriched his life tremendously. Danny was passionate, generous, loved life and genuinely cared for others. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 9:00 am with Graveside service at 10:00 am at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Ave. Riverside CA 92505.
