With unimaginable sorrow and hearts full of love, we announce the passing of our beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend, Daniel Lee Rachau Jr., affectionately known to all as Baby Daniel. He was tragically taken from us on June 21, 2025, in a fatal traffic collision. He was just 30 years old.
Daniel was born on December 2, 1994, and from the moment he entered the world, he brought light and joy to everyone around him. His laughter was contagious, his heart unshakably kind, and his smile had the power to brighten even the darkest day. He lived his life fully, with energy, humor, and an unwavering love for those he held dear. To have known Daniel was to feel seen, accepted and loved. His legacy is one of compassion, connection and joy.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Daniel and Leticia Rachau, and his loving siblings, Joseph Rocha, Alyssa Casillas, and Alyssa Malacas. He also leaves behind the love of his life and wife, Britny Sanchez-Rachau, and their three beautiful children: Daniel III, Leilah, and Delilah, who was born just four days after her father’s passing. Though he never had the chance to hold her in his arms, his love surrounds her always.
Daniel’s love for his family ran deep, he was fiercely loyal, endlessly generous, and always ready to give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He had a rare gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether you were a lifelong friend or a stranger passing through, Daniel had a way of making you feel like you mattered.
His circle of friends stretches for miles, a true testament to the way he lived – with a heart wide open. Daniel never hesitated to lend a hand, offer a laugh, or share a moment of comfort. He was the kind of person who showed up when it mattered most.
Our grief is immense, but so is our gratitude – for the time we had with him, for the memories we carry, and for the love he gave so freely.
A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held on Monday, July 14 at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, where all who loved him are welcome to share in honoring the man who gave us so much to remember.
Rest easy, Baby Daniel. Your love surrounds us, and your spirit lives on in every heart you touched.
