He was born in Rugby, North Dakota to Iver and Gunda Lo.
His family moved to Riverside, California in 1956. He graduated from Ramona High School in 1959 where he played basketball.
He joined the United States Army in 1963 and spent four years in Fort Sam Houston Texas. Upon returning home, he studied at Cal State san Bernardino, where he graduated.
He married Julia McIntyre in 1970 and they had three children: Lisa Miller (Steve), Eric (Melissa) and Evan. He is also survived by grandchildren, Emily, Hannah, Caden, Bryce and Mia.
He was in the car business for 30 years before he retired.
Private services will be held July 20th.
