It's been a long and lonely year without you in our lives, brother.  Bob and I miss you and Lisa very very much.  I went down to visit your gravesite this past weekend, and while sitting there waiting for you to pop your head up out of the ground laughing at me hysterically, which is what you would have done if this was not so real,  I watched the air show going on above with Charlie and Bob.  There is beautiful grass surrounding your headstone now.  A place where your body rests.  I keep your soul with me at all times.  I still hear you laughing, I still see your smile, I have actually smelled your cologne a few times on someone else that has walked near me.  I see you walking into my front door and hear you saying "Uncle Dave's Here"..... You brought so much life into our home with every visit!  We all miss you dearly and will the rest of our lives. And we will not forget you.  You live on in the most wonderful memories of ours.  Our beloved brother, uncle and friend.  Save a place for us up there, we all plan on seeing your face again! I heard the devastating news today and wanted to send my love and condolences. Dave was the happiest man I have ever met. His smile and laughter were contagious. June 9, 2011. Like all of your family and friends I have had today's date etched in my mind for the past couple of weeks. In just a few hours you will be laid to rest, and you will be near by your father. I waited until today to add my entry because I wanted to read all of the other entries first. You were loved by so many, but what sticks out at me as I read the comments is that many people only knew you for a short while. In that short time you made an impression on them, people did not need to know you for very long to know right away that they liked you. That means that you had "that special something." Something about you that makes people want to be your friend. I have often thought to myself that you can measure the success of a man's life by how many people attend his funeral. I expect as a large crowd gathers today to display love and respect for you, it will be very obvious that your life was indeed a success, as measured by the lives that you were a part of. I will always have fond memories of you from when we were boys. We always had fun, and I cannot recall ever having a fight with you, it was all good. I will always remember those early days as good times. Your family will be lost without you for a while, but soon the strength that you possessed in your life will reveal itself in each of them. Your mother will always be able to think of you with pride. Your brothers, sisters, wife, and children will always love you and never forget you. You were a good guy David Webster, and I can speak for my entire family when I say that we are all sadened by losing you, and we will all miss you very much.

My childhood memories are many, and I will cherish our times together. The fun we had,the games we played. They seem like yesterday. Hide and seek,kick the can,the hikes to the park,orange fights in the grove,chasing the trains and never quite catching them. I'll miss you my cousin, but goodbye sounds so final, so It's until we meet again. For when we look toward the heavens and forever in our hearts. That's where we will find our Star of David.

You will be riding in our hearts forever, we will never forget.

You were my little brother.  And I was your big sister.  I helped take care of you.  I helped watch
over you.  I protected you and I loved you.  You could always make me laugh.  You would let me
dress you in little girl clothes and paint your face with lipstick and eyeshadow.  You didnt care, as
long as it made me laugh.  We rode bicycles together,   ran races with each
other, went swimming together, played volleyball, tetherball, football, basketball together.
Our family of kids ran the block .  Dad had put up chalk board wall to wall in our garage, and I
would pretend to be your teacher along with the other kids, and you liked playing.  I can still
remember you holding up your hand to answer my questions on the board.  
 As you grew into a young man, you would ask my advice about girls.
You were so proud when you got your first girlfriend.  And what a handsome guy you were.  Always
walked with your head up.   You could do no wrong in my eyes.  You were my little brother.
When you left home for the first time, you came to Thom and I where we were living and told
us you had joined the Marines, and you had some time before leaving and you wanted to spend
that time with us... We had some fun, didnt we?  
By the time you came home a handsome, well built trained Marine, I was living with Lu
who turned out to be your first wife and the mother of your children. I was in your wedding.
  I was pregnant with Jason
then, and you were so excited for me.  And you couldnt wait to be a part of all of that.  And
when the time came, you were there.  You were such a good brother to me, no matter what
my circumstances were in my life, you were loving and caring and helpful in anyway you could.
We double dated together.  We danced together.  We shared our lives together.  Happy and
Sad.  We could talk about anything together.  You were my brother.  
When I got married the first time, you were there.  When that ended, you were there.  
We both went through some rough times for awhile, but we could talk to each other about things
and it somehow helped both of us out.  You treated my son like you would your own son.
You helped to inspire him to succeed in life.  But you also showed him love and fun times.
When you met my second husband to be... you told me, you liked him..that meant alot to 
me.  You both became very good friends and brothers.  I met a few woman you dated
after your marriage ended.  I had no problem giving my opinion on whether or not I liked 
them.  And you promised me,  if I didnt like them  , they would have to go...  and that
meant alot to me too.  Well, you sure met your match with Lisa...I love her.  She was
bent on having you and she got you , by loving you.  And we all knew you had love and
you loved her too.  You loved to make her laugh.  And you wanted to be happy..  Bob and
I stood up with you in your wedding, along with Thom and Heidi and Bruce. 
Our children grew up to be fine adults who all love each other.  And that meant alot to 
me  and to you.  Because of past experiences of ours we knew we had something to
to worry about in our children, and so we did.   We had many talks about our kids over the years. 
 But most of all brother,  we still played together...we still had fun together, and we loved gettin together
weekend after weekend after weekend of memories run through my mind.  Carshows,
BBQ's, babyshowers, bike rides,  Laughlin, Williams, Stateline, Vegas, graduations, 
Oatman,  Parker,  on the water, out of the water, across the water.  There is a memory of
you in every inch of my home.  And practically every inch of my life.  You were my
little brother.  And I will miss you tremendously in my life.  And I know that when my
time comes , it will be your face that greets me into heaven.  And that is a happy 
thought for me..  I love you,  Kass

Most all my memories of you were when you were a child. When I think of you the first thing that comes to my mind is the smile. A special unique smile.  A childish smile...A smile saying......What can I get into next !!!! I really thought you were something because you could climb the door casings like a Monkey. I was so impressed....or the time when the bigger neighborhood kid came down the block wanting to fight you and you chased him off with a 2 x 4......I will miss you my nephew....You were a special gift to me in my life. I just found out about the accident today and am still in shock. 

I worked with Dave at Print Finishing Solutions and during that time found him to be a wonderful calming force; nothing fazed him, no matter what the circumstances. 

In the short time I knew him I could tell that above all he cherished his family first.

 You are my brother, my little brother as you fondly loved to be called.  You are my little brother and so much more. You are a bright guiding light in a dimly lit world; you are my little brother and so much more. My heart is heavy with a void, which will never be filled, we all feel lost with out you.  In every way you have always set an example of how to live and enjoy life that we could only try and achieve, you are my little brother and so much more.  As a father and parent with love and devotion to your children, they have all grown into loving and caring young men and women all of us are proud of; you are my little brother and so much more.  No matter what life handed you and how hard it got, you made living, loving, and enjoying life and family look easy, you are my little brother and so much more.  I could always count on your big beautiful smile a hearty hug and a â€œI love you brother.â€ You where never to busy to listen or offer a shoulder for comfort and always the first to offer helping hands no matter what the job, you were the best friend anyone could have, you are my little brother and so much more.  I have been blessed with four brothers and two sisters that are the best a man could ask for, they are my brothers and sisters and so much much more.  But without our little brother life just became a lot harder, much less enjoyable, a little more empty, much harder to manage, many more questions to ask when it's our time, we miss you terribly, you are my brother and so much more.  I know you are in Heaven with Dad watching over us in our daily life, in this time of heartache and trouble, you are my brother and so much more.  I will talk to you often and always love and miss you little brother.  Now you are my little brother, and our guardian angel watching over us, we shall always remember how you lived your life, you are my brother and so so much more.  From big brother to little brother with all my love ride in peace until we meet again you are my little brother and so much more.
