

ELISABETH (OMI) GRAFF October 12, 1923 - March 20, 2015 Elisabeth Graff passed away in her sleep on March 20, 2015 in Riverside, CA. Born in Hungary she escaped the Communist regime in 1946 to Germany, where she met Josef and they married and stayed happily married for life. In 1956 Elisabeth, Josef, their only child, Hedi, and Elisabeth's father emigrated from Germany to the U.S., settling in Chicago. IL to join other relatives, where they lived until moving to Riverside in 1984. She was a devoted wife, wonderful Mom, proud Grandmother and a doting Great-grandmother. Her husband Josef preceded her in death in 2011. She is survived by her daughter Hedi Karre; son-in-law Dino Karre; grandchildren Casey Richards and Eric Karre; their spouses Kyle and Courtney and her precious great-grandchildren Capri, Cameron, Lacey and Caris. Omi loved to cook, bake and dance and will be remembered for her wonderful German/Hungarian pastries, amongst many other endearing qualities. Later on in years her passion were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Services will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Riverside, on Saturday April 18 at 10:00 am, located on 3774 Jackson St. Riverside, CA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
