James Lee Anaya, Sr. “Jimmy” was born on December 13, 1970 in Riverside, CA. He was son to Christine; Stepson to John; Father to James Jr, Desire, Kaylea, Liliana and daughter in law Daisy; Grandpa to Aiden, Irie, Jesse and a beautiful baby girl making her debut this August. Stepbrother to John Jr, Pam and Darlene; Godfather to Scott Jr, Brody and Alexis; Husband to Sarah; Ex-husband to Terrie; Son-In-Law to Janet; Cousin, Uncle, Nephew and friend to many.
Jimmy’s greatness will be missed by many from all over. He was so gifted, and his talents ranged far and wide. He literally could do, fix and build anything from scratch and was a true “Jack of all trades”.
By formal trade, Jimmy was an automotive painter. He loved restoring and painting old Bombs/Classic cars, especially for his car club members. He could ramble off color codes for any color of paint and put his heart and soul in every car he ever touched. Jimmy built his own dream shop at home and was so proud to be able to continue doing what he loved and to show off all his hard work to his family and friends.
Jimmy loved the farm life and has always had a slew of animals. He loved showing his kids how to care for them. Another favorite thing of his was putting his chicken eggs in the incubator and teaching the kids the process of watching the eggs hatch and the chicks grow.
His other hobbies included baseball, fishing, dancing, his car club and loved being with his family. He was well loved and respected by many and well deserving of it. He had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. Despite his many setbacks and loss of many loved ones, he still fought with all his might to keep going, stay on track and do the right thing– especially for his family. Jimmy was a changed man and most importantly, a happy man.
