Jean was born in New Market, England to Robert and Molly Turner on August 9, 1936. She was a beloved Teachers’ Aide for Riverside Unified School District for over 25 years. She was a devoted wife and mother . Jean loved to go on road trips.
She had many friends and enjoyed playing cards, bunko, bingo and the occasional trip to the casino. She loved Knitting, crocheting, sewing and doing all sorts of crafts handmade items she made with love, for her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family. Jean is preceded in death by her sisters Marion and Olive, and her brother Keith.
Jean is survived by her husband of 34 years, De Max De Wees of Riverside, CA, her sons, Stephen Knappet of Newmarket, England, James and Gary Popp of Puyallup, WA, and her daughters Janette Dearing and Annette Brock of Riverside, CA. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
