Jerold Eugene Stillinger

November 26,1934-October 13,2020 Jerold Eugene Stillinger “Jerry," loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at home on the evening on October 13th, 2020. He was born on November 26th 1934 in Albion, Nebraska to Earle and Florence Stillinger. He graduated from Albion High School in 1952, where he played Basketball.

Jerry worked for Ford Motor Company in Pico Rivera for 20+ years. After leaving Ford Jerry went on to work for Crody Caulder Plumbing and then to Riverside Unified School District for 10 years. Over the years Jerry enjoyed camping with his family and woodworking- one of his most treasured projects was a cradle that has been used by many of the grandchildren and great- grandchildren which is engraved with their names and birth years. He was just an all around Jack of all trades. He could fix anything and always kept the cars in top shape. More recently he enjoyed genealogy and was a great historian. He was always telling the grandkids many great things about his life in Nebraska and California. Jerry and his wife, Joan, raised their five kids in Garden Grove, California before moving to Riverside in 1989 where they have enjoyed being around all of their family.

Jerry was a member of the Knights of Columbus for St Thomas Church in Riverside and enjoyed the many activities of the Knights.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joan, 4 of his 5 children, Debbie, Linda (Steve), Jeff (Nina) and Carol. His 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, His Sisters Anne and Kay and his brother Richard.

He was preceded by his Parents, Earle and Florence, and his brother Kenneth. His daughter Nancy, her son Eric, his granddaughter Nicole (Debbie), and grandson Andrew (Linda).

-Viewing will be held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary on October 27, 2020 from 4-8PM
