Jessica Cecelia Granado

Jessica Cecelia Granado, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and wife returned to be with our lord on December 3, 2020. Jessica was born on June 23, 1948 in Riverside, California. Jessica was raised in the catholic faith with her 7 siblings in the Norco and Corona areas. She later relocated with her parents and family to Mira Loma and finally ended in the Riverside area where she worked for the Riverside County Office Of Education with special needs children until her retirement in 2014. Jessica was always ready to help anyone out in need or offer her prayers without hesitation.

Jessica loved to hang out with family and friends and entertain them as part of “The Shirelles” onstage. She had a love for sports especially watching The Dodgers, Lakers and boxing and enjoyed gardening in her yard. When she retired she took full advantage of it by traveling the world and spending time with her children and grandchildren. It is the love and appreciation for every day of life’s godly blessings and her strength that she taught her family that will continue on as her greatest legacy throughout the lives of so many who loved her as much as she loved them.

Jessica is survived by her husband Frank Torres of Riverside. Son, David Nunez of Riverside, Daughters Sylvia Nunez of South Carolina, Yvette Reynoso of Paso Robles and Lisa Barrera (Jesus) of Riverside along with her 7 grandchildren Carissa, Nolan, Ariana, Gabriel, Adrien, Carter, and Andrew and Siblings Patsy, Phillip (Raquel) Frances (Tavy) Michael (Vicky) Christine (Juvil). She is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Consuelo Granado, and her brothers Alvin and Benny.
