Joe E. Paz resident of Mira Loma passed away at home at the age of 68. Joe was born in Fillmore, New Mexico on December 31, 1941. He was a licensed barber and also worked as an office furniture upholsterer with Steelcase Inc. for over 27 years. Joe served proudly in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a longtime parishioner at St. Mel Catholic Church in Norco, CA. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Apolinar S. and Frances E. Paz and 12 siblings. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia; daughter, Valerie; sons, Edward and James all from Mira Loma, CA and son, Joe Jr. and his wife, Mindy and their 3 daughters of San Marcos, CA; sisters, Emelia Moncada and Genevive Montoya; brothers, Raul Paz and Manuel Paz both of Corona, CA and several nieces and nephews. Viewing will take place on Thursday, September 2, 2010 4-8pm with a rosary at 6:00pm. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 12:00 noon all at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary at 11500 Arlington Ave., Riverside, CA 92505 . Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:15pm staging area #2 at 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518.
