Joyce Elizabeth Buchanan

Joyce was born June 5, 1947 to her loving parents Willie Louise Riggins and Robert Joseph Riggins Sr. in St Louis MO. Joyce is the youngest of 13 children (11 preceded her in death) the family moved to Compton, CA. Where she attended school at Washington Elementary, Willowbrook Jr. High and Centennial High where she graduated. Joyce gave birth to three children. In 1968 she married Lawrence Buchanan (who preceded her in death) Joyce went back to school to become a Certified Nurse Assistant in which she loved taking care of people. In 2005 Joyce converted over to join Jesus of Latter Day Saints where she became a member and worked within the church which she loved. Joyce leaves to mourn her sister Saundra J Riggins (Jurupa Valley, CA) three children, Michelle Riggins (Downey, CA) Valencia Davis (Ronald Davis Son-In-Law Corona, CA) Stephan Riggins (long Beach, CA) 8 grandchildren Dallas, Shataree, Eural, Sequoia, Ronae, William. Stephan Jr and Devan (stephanie Preceded her in death) 22 great grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews. Joyce will truly be missed by all.
