June was born in London, England, the youngest of the nine Lawrence children. She was active during WWII as a Balloon Operator with the Royal Air Force. She later met her husband, Col. Frederick Fowler, and between them they raised six children. June loved wood working and painting. She studied painting in Wiesbadenn, Germany, under Herr Harzfeld. Her many paintings show her amazing talent. She retired in Riverside and became very active at the Air Force Village organizing and running the Military Library as well as serving on multiple Military Officers Association Boards. In addition, she was a member of the Community’s Chapel Support Group and a volunteer serving troop movements at the Air Force Base. June loved staying busy, those who knew and loved her were aware that she was an incredibly strong woman, inside and out. She is survived by three children, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
