Louis Theodore Cutrer Sr. age 86, of Fontana, CA transcended into eternal life on March 25th, 2022. Louis was born on July 19th 1935 in Independence, Louisiana to his father Willie Cutrer Sr. and mother Maude D. Stevenson.
He married his wife and companion of 31 years, Edelyn Cutrer and to their union they had two wonderful sons, Abraham and Ishmael Cutrer. He was a great provider, lovable, truthful, and good hearted husband and father.
Louis Cutrer was a graduate. He served as a U.S. Army Veteran, a sheriff, and detective in law enforcement. He worked in aviation, was a preacher, a board member, a mason, an achiever, and award honoree. He later retired from GMAC after serving 27 years of service.
Louis loved reading books, preaching the gospel, watching educational movies, traveling, outings with the family and listening to gospel music. His personality was contagious to everyone, he loved making people laugh, giving advice, and giving his infamous “Pop Quizes”.
Louis is survived by his wife Edelyn Cutrer, children Reginald Cutrer, Centrillia Cutrer, Abraham D. Cutrer, and Ishmael D. Cutrer, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
He is preceded in death by his three children Louis T. Cutrer Jr. , Tammaria C. Cutrer, and Chavar C. Cutrer.
