Thank you for sharing these wonderful picture memories of sweet Aunt Lu.  Even though we’d lost touch with the family, Pam, Doug, and I often talked about Aunt Lu and her being the last of these sisters who always laughed so hard when they were together. Those holiday get togethers hold some dear memories! I still hold dear the ceramic baby booties she made for all my kids when they were born.  100 years young!! What a blessing! A long, life full of family love and caring. May she Rest In Peace.

Grandma  was always there with a smile and a laugh and a thoughtful word that made anyone around her feel like they were family. Even when i would screw up and grandpa would scold me and call me a meatball, grandma would always come to my rescue and scold him back while i hid behind her. Although she loved us all the same she had a way of making you feel like she loved you more. There are many things i will miss, from the wonderful food she cooked, to the Christmas Carols she sang so off key. I love you Grandma and i will always miss you.

Rest in peace Grandma. I don't have too many memories with you, but the ones I do are full of happiness and good times. You were so kind and caring to everyone who had the pleasure of being around you. 

From the first day we met, Grandmother DiCicco showed me unconditional love. I will always have love and respect for her.  Rest In Heaven....

An angel taken from us too soon. She lived nearly century , but yet we were not prepared for her to go so suddenly. The child in me wishes you would come back and just be here forever, but with time I accepted that it was your time to stop suffering and God called his beautiful child home. My only regret is not being able to see her one last time. How I will miss you so, your beautiful spirit and passionate soul.  Nana was our glue and our direct connection to out heritage, and she taught us all the meaning of family. I only aspire to be and live a long, healthy, joyful life as did my Great-Grandmother. Ti amo Lucille, you will forever be with me. 

When growing up I would sit Indian style on the edge of the kitchen and the no no touch room and watch the oil lamp and watch the ladies cook. I loved going to her house for Christmas Eve. It will always be why I carry on that tradition.  I will miss you and love you always 

I have many memories of Nana. But, my favorite will always be when we would spend Christmas Eve at her house. I would just hang out in her antique room and  watch her rain lamp that she had in the corner. She is the reason why I love my Italian culture so much. 

Mom was the most beautiful lady I ever had the pleasure of being part of her life. I learned so much from her. She never judged but always gave love.  With her a song and a smile was always there. I'll always love and miss. But will remember the love and music will never die. 

Nana was a sweet & kind soul . she always knew how to make us smile . her spirit sent vibrations to us all to always be happy around her . One memory i will cherish forever is when she would let us go in her room and sit on the floor and then we would get kicked out of the rooms by the adults . I will miss you so much Nana . i love you! 

She knew I loved her rose bushes and picking them was a no no; but she always cut me one as I was leaving to go back home to my mom.  Christmas Eve at her house with the family was something I looked forward to every year. She did always remind us of being Italian and she passed on our traditions - and to this day I try to carry that on and instill it in our children and theirs. To this date it is my favorite time of year. I will always cherish all your china paintings that I now have. I love you grandma with all my heart, you will be missed. 

Grandma loved blue.  Every house in her subdivision was a different shade of beige and grandma, after many years, painted her house blue. It made me happy to see her home so reflectant of who she was.  This is just 1 of many memories if have with grandma.

❤ She loved the color turquoise, loved to remind us of our Italian heritage, loved china painting and cake decorating. She celebrated the entire month of July for her birthday and was loved by many people. All my memories are happy and loving and I will miss her very much.  Until we meet again grandma ❤
