You are in my thoughts Nana always. I miss you. I miss our talks via phone. Your advice on many things has helped me get through matters of the heart and other life circumstances in this 1 year that you've been gone that were laid at my feet through no choice of my own. Nana , thank you for passing on your loving words and courage. I am happy Nana. I am finally happy. The happy every woman should feel for herself. And that happiness makes me stronger and more confident in everything I step forward to do each and everyday. And yes I am living single without any family without chaos...Im smiling....I got this Nana! Can you see me ? I've got life by its balls just like you said to do and I'm living it ...simple and quiet...just for me....and I'm happy ... You have been with me just as HE always is. We met when we were just kids and soon after we started a 46 year lifelong relationship. Through good and bad times we were always there for each other no matter what the world threw at us as our love grew stronger over the years. They say that behind every good man is a good woman. You were the driving force behind me that gave me the desire to always do better. Not only personally but in all aspects of our lives. You never sugar coated anything and always faced issues head on and standing up for what you believed in no matter what the cost. You were always willing to help others and you spent a great deal of your time working with the sick and elderly. What a beautiful heart you had to put your own issues aside in order to lend assistance to those in need. 
 We also had our share of good times too like all of the car shows and cruising up and down Bellflower Blvd. in the 57 just like we did when we were kids in the old days.
 I can recall a trip to Orlando Florida when we were staying at the Holiday Inn. We were going out to eat and you stopped the Cuban housekeeper and was going to ask her in Spanish if she had any shampoo. Not knowing how to say shampoo you asked her " How do you say shampoo in Spanish?" She smiled and said " shampoo." We laughed for days.
 Another time returning from a trip to Albquerque New Mexico we made a detour to Las Vegas. Once checked into the room you couldn't wait to hit the casino.You went to the slot machine that you just knew where your big jackpot was waiting while I went elsewhere and started on another machine.
 About 20 minutes later you came and found me and told me that you had lost over $600.00. I was bent out of shape the rest of the weekend.
 The next morning we went to breakfast and you found a pair of sandals that someone had left underneath the table. You took them home saying that at least youd didn't leave Vegas empty handed.
 We called them your $600.00 shoes for years.

So many memories over the last 55 years. The good the bad and the ugly. Through it all sister I have always loved you. Go in peace and be with God. Say hello to mom and dad. Until we meet again heaven save a place for me. Love you sister

So many memories with my special friend. Working at G. l. Collins, Halloween parties, getting in trouble lol, I love you dear friend and will miss you always. RIP friend until we party again.!!!

Remember the trip to Idaho and Yellowstone. What a great time we had exploring and the car show we went to.
