

Born October 17,1974, died August 19th,2023.
Mike was born at San Bernardino Community hospital to Mrs Marie and Steve Colucci. From early on they referred to him as life's great adventure. He was academically and athletically gifted, being named the student athlete in junior high, high school, and Boston College.
He graduated Riverside Poly High with a 4.6 GPA where he starred in soccer and football. His two last field goals kicked poly into the CIF playoffs.
He graduated Boston College Magna Cum Laude in 1997 with a degree in finance. He was a walk on the B.C football team where he saw limited action. He starred in the Las Vegas senior bowl where was elected MVP.
After B.C he returned to Riverside where he started his own sports agency MC2. He also worked as a pharmaceutical rep and taught part time at Riverside Poly and RCC. He was awarded a scholarship at Notre Dame University in their Masters Program where he graduated in 2003 after only 16 months. He was part of N.D's program to set up relief programs in Kosovo.
He returned home after N.D where he continued to teach as a grant faculty at RCC and was the most popular and successful part time football coach at Riverside Poly and Corona High School. Coaching was his true love.
Mike was also a successful author having published his international best seller in the field of football fiction, Citrus City Dreams inspired by his playing days at Riverside Poly High School. At the time of his death he was working on 2 sequels to Citrus City Dreams and 2 stand alone novels.
He is survived by his grieving father who he's lost the son he always wanted to have, and his best friend, his dog Mo.
He is preceded in death by his adoring mother, Marie.
He is survived by his loving family members on both coasts and many friends. He was truly life's great adventure and will be greatly missed.
A celebration on life will be held at Jurupa Hills Golf and Country Club on October 14, starting at 4PM.
In lieu of flowers his father requests donations be made to the Marie Colucci Scholarship Fund on the Boston College Athletic fund, or to a charity of your choosing.
