Miguel Ignacio Hualde, a cherished resident of Norco, California, passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Born in Spain on July 2, 1940, Miguel was known for his devoted, hard-working, humorous, kind-hearted nature, and was dearly cherished by his family and friends.
In his early years, Miguel started taking care of sheep as a young boy and continued tending to his flock throughout his life, a testament to his love and dedication. He pursued a career as a dairy worker, devoting 40 successful years to the industry before retiring at the age of 62.
Miguel shared a blessed and loving life with his wife, Eloise, to whom he was married for 51 wonderful years. He was a devoted husband and a loving Aita to their two children, Michelle (Dan) and Stephen (Sarah), and a cherished Tachie to his three grandchildren, Ezra, Morgan, and Zoey. Miguel's family was his pride and joy, and he was known for always putting them first, embodying self-sacrifice and devotion.
In his leisure time, Miguel enjoyed playing Muse, a traditional Basque card game. He also loved gardening, spending time outdoors, and people-watching. Miguel took great pleasure in caring for his sheep, chickens, and doves on his small farm, a world that he relished deeply.
Miguel's legacy is defined by his wit, enduring hard work, and the devotion he showed as an Aita and Tachie to his family. His kind-hearted and humorous presence will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
