MILDRED V. ALLEN Mildred Allen was born February 27, 1919 in Clarendon, Texas to Perry Oscar and Ada Lillian Wood and died peacefully November 14, 2013 in Riverside, CA. She was a resident of Riverside for 68 years where she worked for Riverside Unified School District for 24 years in the cafeteria system. She was preceded in death by her husband M.L. Allen and survived by two daughters, DeeAnn Payton of Concord, CA., Patti Keisling and son-in-law Larry Keisling of Riverside,CA.; step-son Mikey Lee Allen of Clifton, AZ.; brother and sister-in-law Russ and Delores Wood of Moreno Valley, CA.; grandchildren, Marilee Davis of Sylacauga, Al., Marilee Gammons of Frisco,TX., Ellen Payton of Susanville, CA. and Allen Payton of Antioch, CA., Curtis Keisling of Riverside, CA., Cara Keisling of Riverside, CA., Shanon Alexander of Rio Rancho, NM. and Michael Allen of Tucumcari, NM.; 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was a 68 year member of Riverside First Baptist Church where she was active in Women's Ministries and was also a member of the Gideons. Burial will be on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 12:00p.m. at Olivewood Cemetery 3300 Central Ave. Riverside, CA. 92506 and a memorial celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 1:00p.m. at First Baptist Church 5500 Alessandro Blvd., Riverside, CA. 92506.
