Neftali Quiroz Olivo was born on March 29, 1942 in Matamoros, Coahuila Mexico. He was the eldest son of seven children for Reverend Simon and Maria Antonia Olivo. He was in the Mexican army from 1960-61 and obtained residence in the United States in August 1961.
On May 17, 1963 became baptized and dedicated his life to Jesus Christ.
On September 29, 1963, Neftali married his first wife, Leticia. They had three daughters: Elizabeth #1 (2/23/70 – 3/8/70), Elizabeth (born in 1972) and Rachel (born in 1976). They were married for 27 years before Leticia was called home to be with the Lord on September 11, 1990.
In September 2, 2000, Neftali married his second wife Marcelina. He also lovingly welcomed four more daughters and two sons: Yicel, Yesenia, Jasmin, Yajaira, Jesus and Jose.
Neftali was an auto mechanic for most of his life and worked for Ford for many years. He had a love and God given talent for music. He taught himself to play piano at about age 12 and later taught himself to play guitar. He was known for his beautiful singing voice and was often heard singing in church during worship. Neftali was also well known for his kindness, sense of humor and his ability to make you feel like family. He will be truly missed.
