Well tomorrow will be 2 months since my mother was taken from us, it has been the hardest two months of my life and I don't see it getting any easier anytime soon. I miss her so much even though I know she's with me all the time watching over us all, I love you mom and Miss you!!!  ❤❤❤❤❤❤

  Paige (3)  wrote a "story" and "read" it to us, it says "I miss nana, I love you nana, please come back Home, don't go back to the doctor, go share papas car, I love you, I miss you. I hope you get two dogs papa Cus I like dogs" and a couple hours before this as we drove past the cemetery, her words were similar. "Hi nana, I love you, I miss you, come back from heaven, I played with my doggy, Seths at baseball, Brynn is asleep, I love you nana, I be back nana, bye" She said she was telling her about her day. <3

I miss you so much!! I wish I had one more chance to tell you how much I LOVE YOU!!,  I think about you EVERY DAY and would give anything to have one more hug and kiss from you,, I never thought I could ever miss someone this much :(  I LOVE YOU MOM,, and please watch over your newest Great Grandbaby to be, it is really sad to know you won't be here to meet him or her,, MISS YOU SOOOO MUCH!!

I have, as I'm sure everyone of you has, spent a great deal of my life thinking about and working toward becoming an idea of what I thought was a good person. From time to time I deliberately sit alone, quietly contemplating how I've done and where I should be heading next in terms of personal growth, and not just for the benefit of myself, but for my Son, my Dad, my Mom, my Sister, all my extended family, my friends, my community, and the world in general. I have had many teachers, good and bad, influence, shape, and mold me. I am a sum product of everyone I've ever known. There are a small handful of people who have had a much greater impact on me than the rest, and it's usually these people I think about in my moments of introspection. In these moments of quiet reflection, my thoughts always include my Grandparents, my Gramma and Papa.
Many of you who are close to me, are already aware my family and I lost my Gramma a few weeks before Christmas. I've had a difficult time, putting into words, how this event made me feel. This is my attempt.
LOVE. Pat Luebke, my Gramma, was/is Love. She was/is my perfect example of unconditional love. Even now, she's been gone from this Earth for over a month, and I can still feel her love. I feel her hugs, her kisses, her slaps (which came with each new tattoo haha), and I can still hear her beautiful loving voice asking, how are my boys? No person I've ever met has been a greater example of love for me, than my Gramma.
Going home and spending time with my family after my Gramma's passing was painful, but it was also an amazing reminder about the lessons her and my Papa gave to each of us. Family, togetherness, love, support this is all I felt, and this is their legacy. We are their legacy; I am their legacy. I'm not sure if I've ever in my life thought more about who I am and who I want to be for my loved ones than I have in this last month. My Gramma is still teaching me lessons from another plane of existence. She is not gone, she lives in me, she lives in every one of my family, she lives in all of her friends, she lives on in every person she ever encountered, because her presence of love was that strong. She will live on forever because we will all carry her example forward in the people we meet, who will then carry it on to all they meet. She is not gone; in fact, she is waiting just around the corner for all of us. We're not so far away.
To my Gramma,
I love you. I love you for everything you were, and everything you still are. I cry when I think of you, but my tears aren't made of sadness, but of joy. My tears are of the joy I feel for having been so blessed to have such a strong example of love and happiness to carry forward with me. This is what is important in life, to love and to create happiness. Thank you for being a beautiful human. And of course, thank you for always making me Tang. I love you. I will make you proud.
To my Papa,
I love you. You are a part of this dynamic duo that has so positively influenced me. Without you and Gramma as an example of how to create a good life, I wouldn't be half the man I am today. I am thankful and feel so very blessed to still have you with us. Stay strong, we're here for you, but selfishly I need you here for me. I still have so much more to learn from you. So much of what I base my view of being a man, is in how I see you. Thank you for working so hard, alongside Gramma, to provide such a solid family. The camping, the family get togethers, the suckers, holidays, your love, I couldn't have asked for a better upbringing. I love you Papa.
To my family,
I love you guys. Hang in there. As long as we focus on the lessons that were passed to us, Gramma (Mom, Nana) will always be with us. I love you all.
I'm sharing this as my testimonial to how incredibly beautiful my Gramma was. Maybe her example can inspire a few more through my words. She is my picture of perfect love; unconditional, and unwavering. And I couldn't be more grateful that I had her in my life for as long as I did. I love you Gramma, I'll see you soon.

Today, 12/19/15, is not a day that I am looking forward too, for today I have a heavy heart that I officially have to say "I'll see you later" to you here on earth. I don't like good byes from the people I love dearly so I'm not saying good bye to you. I will cry, I will hurt, I will morn, I will be angry, I will laugh, I will smile, I will continue to love you, I know that you love me like your very own. My head and heart hurts to think I can't hear your voice saying, what can I do to help you, what do the kids need, there's a coke in the frig, or watch you kinda pull your hair up and brush it back with your fingers (but you never even touch the "bed head" hair in the back) and you saying "I'm getting my hair done tomorrow", hear stories about one or more of the kids, grandkids, or great grandkids, or that little laugh you would sometimes give, and so much more but most of all the words "I love you". Everyone who has come in contact with you would say what a wonderful person you are, especially the kids that hung around my kids and you officially became their grandma. This just seems like a very bad dream that actually awake too. This is all a part of what we call life, sometimes we like sometimes we don't, right now I don't. I wished I could turn back time to when the kids were smaller just because that meant you are here so that you are at softball, baseball, soccer, having dinner at the house or whatever the occasion might be. I do have peace in my heart and soul to know that you are in a much better place. Your old body is now at rest, you have been given a new body that is full of laughter and joy and completely whole for you are now at the feet of Jesus. Thank you for being a mom to me even when I wasn't so very nice, for this is what unconditional love looks like. I will forever love and miss you! Forever sweet dreams and I'll see you again. Another guardian angel is our lives.

Still up and these words still resonate with me, especially seeing you peacefully...
The "what ifs", the "should haves", the "whys" ..... those are not for me and don't let those be for you. I loved you from the day I met you or you became a part of the family or the day you took your first breath and opened your eyes. Wipe those sad tears from your face for that is not what I want for you because that is not who I am. My life is full of laughter, hugs, smiles, tears, yelling, conflicts, disagreements, but most of all full of joy because that is what family is about. I treasure the moments I had, my moments could be big or small, it really didn't matter to me. That is what my life is all about, those moments. I know you hurt, because right now you are in that moment. You think I left you but I didn't and I never will. That is the moment I need you to hold tight too, to know that I have and never will leave you. I am whole once again and full of life, for Christ gave that to me. Yes, you will cry or laugh or maybe even both when you hear or see something that reminds you of me. That is a moment when you know I am right next to you. See, I told you that I haven't left you. I understand that you can't reach out to touch me but if you hold still, you will feel my hug to you and that kiss on the cheek. So shake off those "what ifs", "should haves", and "whys" because those are not my moments. Remember that my moment lives in you every day that you live. When you look into that mirror and you feel sad for me, remember I'm right with you smiling back at you. Oh, you're saying but that's not my face you're seeing but if you look just a little harder, you will see that smile that only belongs to me because you gave that smile to me when I saw you and you saw me. Just because you can't touch me or hug me that doesn't mean I left you alone, reach out and hug yourself for that hug is from me to you. Now you're saying but I can't have that kiss from you, stop that right now. Stand still and you will feel that kiss that I am giving you right there on your cheek, reach up with your hand and feel that kiss on the cheek. See I told you I'm right there with you. What, you can't hear my voice? Don't kid yourself because you know better. At the house just look on the counter, go get a cookie, or there's candy on top of the refrigerator, there's tangsicles in the freezer for the kids if they want one, go get yourself a coke it's in the frig. See you're hearing my voice say all those tings that I have always said. Those are my moments I had with you, the laughter, the smiles, the giggles, the hugs, the tears and all those special things we did together are deep down inside of you, I am with you at all times. So remember that those "what ifs", "should haves", and "whys" are not my moments. My moments are the ones that you will always have with your every day in your heart, your mind, and your soul. I am resting peacefully and whole once again. I will not say good-bye because I don't have good-byes; I have "I will see you later". The memories that you have of me will always be my treasures to you.
This is how I feel of what will remind me of you, for that's the person who has had that wonderful life and call say it has been accomplished well. 

I want to say thank you for allowing me to be part of the journey of yours and I will always treasure those moments. Yes, I know that I will cry at times but in the end there will be more smiles than tears and for that will be my own personal treasures of the moments I had with you. I will forever love and miss you!

Were driving home rain poring  down and the same song that was sang at your funeral played on the radio...  I know you are with us right now... I know you were with us today sitting next to each of us holding Jesus hands and wiping away out tears... Hearing your voice today kills me cause but I know it won't be the last time I hear it... Ilysm gramma and I miss you but this isn't the last gramma.. Till we meet again my amazing angel...

On December 7,2015 , my family and I lost a mom, grandma, and wife. I am so lost for words, it feels like a big haze.

Open letter to my mother-in-law, Patricia Luebke. What a woman you are, you leaving us was not in our plans. Your love is so great, anyone that knows you will a test to that. You loved me even in my storm from the very beginning. You are the backbone of the Luebke family and your memory will continue to be so in the future. How much I want you to give me a hug, a kiss, and to hear you say "I love you". How much I want to see you hug the kids, a kiss, and to hear you say "I love you" to them. How much I want to see you hug Bobby, give him a kiss, and say "I love you". How much I want to see you give the great grandkids a special treat that you would pull out of your "purse" (something you have always done even when the grandkids were small). There are so many memories that belong to you due to your touch. God gave you that mother's heart, unconditional love. You showed it everyday even when we don't see it. I have so much more to say but right now, but my heart hurts. Deep down in my heart, my mind, and my soul I know that you are in a much better place. You are whole once again and full of never ending light that Christ gave to you. I will not say goodbye because it isnt, it is I will see you again. Thank you for everything that you have done. I will forever love and miss you!

You have set such an example all have treated me so very kind..Your awesome smile gave a person something to think about. Your precious Sandy has been such a Blessing to me as have all the Grandkids and each and every one I have been honored to meet...I love all of the cute names that Tiffany's Angels have chosen to call me. I look forward to seeing you in Eternity my Sweet One..I maybe will have some new stories...Glory Be To God that He has shared you with your family for all these years..I pray that  there are many sweet memories to share

Hey gramma.. As I walked you to your car holding your hand you told me Tuesday night you'd see me Wednesday night..it's now Monday night and I held your hand for the last time. I never expected you to have to endure through everything that you have. But you're one strong woman with the biggest and kindest heart. It hasn't been the easiest of days sitting here with you, waiting but it's been comforting knowing I still have my grammas hand to hold. I never thought I'd lose you, especially this early. But ultimately I haven't lost you..I know you'll be up in heaven dancing with Jesus. A place I only have the opportunity to dream of going to one day so that I can come see you again. Papa misses you. Your son and daughters miss you. Your grandkids miss you. Your great grandkids miss you. I miss you. This isn't going to be easy but I know you'll always be with me. Its hard to loose a friend I know that but to loose a gramma it kills.. Just thinking about your voice or the way you smell... Remembering the way I'd lay on you lap to fall asleep while you play with my hair and rubbing your finger across my eyes to keep them shut lol... Or after dinner you would make us ice cream cones lol... Or donuts in the morning... You are a true inspiration... You are my everything.. It feels like a dream I wanna wake up from already... I wish you can just come back to us already.. I miss you so much... God blessed us with you even though I think you were taken too early lol I'm happy I had the chance to love you... I love you gramma

Heaven just received another angel. Gramma Luebke you were an amazing woman and like a 3rd grandma to me, although we were brats growing up you took me under your wing like I was one of your own. You will be missed dearly. Say hi to Grandma Smurf for me. Love you!  always tell those how much they mean to you and that you love them each and every day because tomorrow is never promised!
