Ray Neal Johnson, age 72, passed away on September 30, 2014 at home with his family by his side in Hemet, California. He was born in Seattle, Washington, but has been a resident of the Hemet area for the past 62 years. After High School, Ray served in the U.S. Navy. After his service was complete, he worked as a Fire Fighter for the Hemet Fire Department and became Battalion Chief before eventually retiring as the Emergency Services Director for the City of Hemet, only 1 of 5 in the U.S. to graduate Certified as an Emergency Manager for FEMA. He is survived by his loving wife; Patricia Ann Johnson, his sons; Patrick (Kim) Johnson, Dave (Tonja) Johnson, and Michael (Debbie) Johnson, his daughters; Andrea (Michael) Jacomet, Karen Johnson, and Jennifer Palmer, 15 grandchildren; Sarah, Cassie, Travis, Victoria, Austin, Cole, Luke, Aaron, Grace, Mary, Georgia, Emma, Lilly, Jenoah, and Gaige, 2 great grandchildren; Rory and Emery, and his siblings; June, Jean, Joanne, Lorraine, Christine, Ernie, Annie, Connie, Lorie, Wade and Mary Ann. He was preceded in death by his parents; Dennison and Lorraine Johnson, and his brothers; Denny and Lyle Johnson. He will be dearly missed by all.
