Robert Martin Angeleri

My dad, Robert Martin Angeleri, was the kind of man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a warmth about him that made people feel at home and special. He had a charisma that lit up any room, and a heart big enough to hold the whole world. He was loved by so many, but to me, he was simply Dad, my first best friend, my old man, my rock, my protector, and my greatest role model. I will miss receiving his daily phone calls, my day was always complete once I had heard from him.

Dad was the center of our family, the steady foundation that held us all together. No matter what life threw our way, he was there with strength, wisdom, and a comforting presence that made everything feel okay. He showed us what it meant to work hard, love deeply, and never take life too seriously. He could find laughter in any situation and make the best of any situation. His sense of humor and positivity were some of his greatest gifts.

At the heart of his life was his love for my mom, Shirley. Their marriage was the kind of love story that people dream and read about. Built on trust, partnership, and a deep friendship that never wavered. They were a team in every sense of the word, facing life together with love and laughter. Through every joy and every challenge, they stood side by side, proving that real love is about showing up, day after day, no matter what.

But if there was anything my dad loved as much as my mom, it was his family. He was an incredible father, always there when we needed him, always putting us first. And when he became a grandfather, his love grew even bigger. His grandchildren adored him, and he adored them right back, filling their lives with the same love and wisdom he gave to us.

Losing him has left a hole in our hearts that nothing can ever fill. We already miss him more than words can express,” his voice, his laughter, the way he made everything feel safe and right. But even though he’s no longer here, he lives on in all of us. In the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the countless memories that will stay with us forever.

Dad, thank you for being everything a father should be and so much more. Thank you for your love, your kindness, and the unwavering support you gave us every single day. We will carry you with us always, and we will love you forever.
