Robert Ralph Scheurer

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Robert Scheurer, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to many passed away March 28, 2025 at the age of 91. Bob is now with the love of his life Beatrice who he missed deeply after her passing in 2021.

Bob touched many people over the course of his life and will be truly missed. He is survived by his 5 children, Mark, Julie, Diane, John, Jim, their spouses, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one brother Ron Scheurer and many nieces and nephews.

Bob's successful career in the automotive industry earned him the nickname "Big A Bob" with the motto “if we don’t have it, we will find it”. Customer service was everything and what built a respectful career for him and the family. This allowed Dad and Mom to travel and explore the US.

During their retirement, Dad and Mom treasured their time traveling across the country to visit family and friends. Bob passed on his love of camping to his children and grandchildren, who continue to camp as much as they can. He loved working in his “shop”, he was great carpenter constructing lots of wonderful furniture for all his kids and grandkids. He was always so patient with his grandkids letting them sand his wood projects and learn to build their own projects in his workshop. Golf was also one of his passions, he enjoyed spending time on the course with his 3 boys.

Family was everything to Bob, he treasured his time with his loved ones. Whether it was playing cards, watching a movie, or enjoying a simple dinner, he truly wanted to be with the ones he loved.

His memory will live in our hearts and minds forever. We are all extremely blessed to have had such an amazing man in our lives.

A funeral mass for Robert will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 7005 Brockton Avenue, Riverside, California 92506. Following the funeral mass will be a reception to follow at Riverside Rancheros, 1198 Washington St, Riverside, CA 92506.
