

Roger Douglas Jaynes was born March 4, 1941 in Wyandotte, Michigan and passed away December 16th, 2019 in his home in Riverside, California. He was surrounded by his loved ones. He passed away from complications due to long term diabetes. Roger’s family came to Riverside when he was 6. He had a lifelong passion for animals and agriculture which led to him starting a very successful beekeeping business alongside his sons Scott and Jeff. Mary Rose, his high school sweetheart and wife of 57 years was his partner in life as well as business. The two of them traveled extensively to all parts of the globe. He also had a passion for hunting that took him many places.
Roger is survived by his wife Mary Rose (Tino) Jaynes, his two sons Scott and Jeff Jaynes, daughter-in-law Jennifer Jaynes, grandchildren Riley, Corey, Brody, Delaney, Savannah, Tyler, Ricky and Alyssa. Great grandchild, James Dominguez. He is also survived by sisters Suzanne Giurbino (Mike) and Carol Burns. Sisters and brothers in-law: Joanne (Greg) Chisum, Judy (Verne) DeLorenzo and Lisa Burke (Dave). Nephews and nieces: Jennifer, Jonathan, Ryan, Matthew, Lance, Tina, Shelly, Becky, Michelle, Charlie, Amber and Michael. Cousin: Sandy Sandiland.
Preceded in Death by: Parents: Doug & Maggie Jaynes. Sister: Jerri Milburn (Ron). Mother-in-law: Betty Tino. Father-in-law: Nick (Marie) Tino.
The Memorial service will be held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary at 8:30 am followed by the interment at Olivewood Memorial Park at 10am.
