Ruben Contreras passed on September 5, 2026, at the age of 49, having been born on November 22, 1976 in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, and residing in Eastvale, California. He leaves behind a family and countless people whose lives were made a little brighter simply by knowing him.
Ruben shared 25 years of marriage with his wife, Jennifer Davalos, and together they built a family and a lifetime of memories. He was a loving father to his daughter, Malenny, and his son, Joshua. His family was an important part of the life he worked so hard to build.
Ruben was one of nine brothers and sisters and was a much-loved uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He loved them dearly, and they each held a special place in his heart.
Ruben was simply hardworking, friendly, funny, a prankster, social, stubborn, genuine, and loved by many. He had a way of connecting with people, and his presence will be deeply missed by his wife, his children, his brothers and sisters, his nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
And although we would give anything for more time with him, we are grateful for every conversation, every laugh, every memory, and every year we were lucky enough to have him.
