This note is in my husband, Rudy Acevedo's  memory.
I miss him terribly and think of him everyday.   After a life together of 35 years it is not easy to just forget all the good memories I have of him, all the times of happiness and joy and then the times of sadness we shared together.
He is in heaven probably looking down on us and just waiting.
His peaceful days are a tribute for all the good things he did and accomplished.  He was a good man.
I love him and someday I hope to join him.
I pray for him at home and in church.   I wish I could light a candle for him every day .  
Amen.

Thanks for the memories, dear cousin Rudy. I always thought you were “movie star handsome” and I loved that our parents kept closely in touch over the years. After they were gone, we still called our cousins to say hello. See you in Heaven one of these days!!

Condolences to the Family.
The news of his passing leaves me with mixed emotions. First there are tears in my eyes and my heart is heavy, Second there is a smile and happiness knowing  that I was privileged to have called him a friend.
Over a fifty three year period we shared the table over bowls of Menudo, stories,  and laughter in a favorite restaurant in So.  El Monte after dispatch at the Union Hiring Hall.
My fondest memory is of Rudy in his late 60’s working for me as an IBEW Salt at the Multi- Theater Project for n West Covina. He was a Hero and a Legendary Figure in the IBEW # 11, Los Angeles.
Adios Amigo Que Dios te Bendiga!!!

Although I didn’t get the honor to meet Rudy I know that he was a very loving, sweet and funny person. I know that he will be missed by many. To Margie (his daughter) thank you for sharing so many wonderful stories about him.. it almost feels as if I knew him. 
My thought and prayers are with the family during these very though times.  May you find peace in knowing that he is resting in heaven.

I never had the privilege of meeting Rudy in person but I feel like I know him through his daughter Margie. 

Margie and I have been best of friends for yrs and she speaks of her father often. She is truly a Daddy's Girl and she loves him with every ounce of her soul!

She will forever honor him and his influence in her life.  Rudy we acknowledge that you are free from worldly cares and are with the Lord and your loved ones who have gone on before. See you on the other side!!
