FEBRUARY 26, 1944 – APRIL 20, 2015
Sam passed peacefully at home after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Joanne; daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Steve Lupercio of San Diego; sister, Patricia Mello of Turlock; and many loving nieces, nephews and family members.
Sam graduated from Corona High in 1961 and immediately entered the Marine Corp. Upon completion of his tour of duty, he became a CHP Officer until he established his business, Chino Welding and Assembly, in 1974.
Sam enjoyed farming, baseball, hunting, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, poker, traveling and visiting family and friends. He will be remembered for his humor, kind spirit, and generosity.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2015, 10:30 am at Inland Hills Church in Chino. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that his memory be honored with a donation to your favorite charity.
