After her father’s death, at the age of 14, she moved to Brooklyn, New York with her mother and two other siblings. She followed in her Mother’s footsteps and became a seamstress. There, Sarah met and married her husband, Ernesto Lopez in 1952 at the age of 19. They gave birth to six children, three boys, Ernie, Sam and Steve, and three girls Millie, Cathy (Sarah) and Joanne. After the death of her husband of almost 50 years, she remarried again for companionship two wonderful men, Dick Osborne and Joe Medina.
In 1966, the Lopez family moved to California where she lived until her death. She is survived by her six children, twenty grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren to date, as well as her one younger brother, Samuel Loubriel. Her life was always filled with love, family and a dedication to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May she rest in peace.
