Simeon was born in Los Angeles, California to Carol Jean Cockrell and Samuel White. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Cockrell.
From an early age, Simeon carried a strong sense of responsibility, determination, and care for those around him, qualities that defined both his life and his work.
Simeon was a devoted husband to Angela White, and together they built a life centered on family. He was a proud and loving father to his five children: Justin, Zechariah, Cierra, Kiara, and Zoe. Nothing brought him greater joy than being present for his children and supporting them in every season of life.
A successful businessman, Simeon had a rare gift for building. He could bring anything to life with his hands and his vision, whether it was a hotel, a home or a vehicle. Building wasn’t just his career it was his passion. He took pride in creating something lasting, something solid, something meaningful.
Simeon loved life and lived it fully. He loved fast cars, had countless hobbies, and found peace on the water on his boat, fishing, and enjoying the quiet moments that let him slow down and breathe. Those moments reflected his adventurous spirit and his appreciation for freedom.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kya and Saint, his siblings, John, Lavina, and Catrena, and many extended family members and friends who loved him deeply.
Simeon will be remembered for his drive, his loyalty, his big heart, adventurous spirit and the way he showed up for the people he loved. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will live on through his family and the life he built.
He leaves behind a family who will continue to honor his life through the love he gave and the legacy he built.
