A loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend, on May 4, 2013, our Hero left this world bound for heaven after a long hard courageous battle with cancer of the pancreas. “Jimbo” as he was affectionately called by many, was a brave and true gentleman. Born in Harbor City, California, to Jose and Ana Martinez on July 5, 1968, he lived in San Pedro, California until 1982 when his family moved to Norco, California, where he shortly thereafter met his childhood sweetheart and soul mate Teri who would eventually become his adoring wife and together they have three amazing kids. James was a friend to all who met him, always rooting for the underdog, always treating everyone equal. His second passion was sports, his favorites were the “Los Angeles Rams” the L.A. Dodgers, soccer, boxing and horse racing, but his true passion in sports were the Los Angeles Kings where he finally got to see his team win the Stanley Cup!!! James was a responsible hard working man and worked at Stevens Global Logistics for many years. He leaves many of us behind wondering how we will go on without him. He is survived by his adoring wife Teri, his children Tatiana Marie, Jackqaline Patricia, and James Napoleon, his mother Ana Luisa, brothers Jose, Alex and Victor, nephews AJ, Ricky, Alex, Danny and nieces Joana, Sarah, Victoria, and Santina. For those with your brothers and sisters still here - hold them close.
- Alex Martinez
