Teri Lynn Wright

Teri Lynn Wright, of Riverside, California passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 14th surrounded by family after a heroic battle with cancer. She was 55 years old. Teri was born to Joye Mouriquand and Don Smith on Septemeber 30, 1960 in Riverside, California. She graduated from Rubidoux High School in 1978 with her best friends, Theresa Rollins and Vicky Sherman. On October 17, 1987 Teri was united in marriage to Robert W. Wright at the Outpost Wedding Chapel in the town of Victorville, California. She was employed at the Jurupa Unified School District as a cafeteria manager where she cheerfully served hundreds of children a day for 22 years. Teri had a passion for being in the company of family and friends. She enjoyed relaxing at the beach, singing karaoke, dancing at parties, cruising with her husband to car shows, traveling with her children, playing with her grandchildren, and so much more. Teri is survived by her husband of 28 years, Robert Wright; 2 sons, Erick Christopher, and Bryan Matthieu; a daughter, Heather Joye; 5 grandchildren, Kinsley, Logan, Eleanor, Kaylee, and Caroline; her father, Don Smith of Jacksonville, Florida; and 4 siblings, Donnie Smith of Jacksonville, Florida, Debbie Riley of Jacksonville, Florida, Susan Bateman of Mountain Home, Idaho, and David Smith of Jacksonville, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m on Friday, January 22nd at the Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park & Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, California 92505. Attendees are asked to bring a favorite flower to add to Teri's garden at the cemetery.
