

A visitation for Tristan will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505.

Tristan P. Caparas, 69 years of age of San Bernardino, CA. passed away on February 9th, 2022. Tristan was born on February 12, 1952 to parents, Dr. Feliciano Caparas and Mrs. Josefina Poblete Caparas. Siblings: Terry Caparas, Nini and Ritchie (adopted). After Tristan graduated in 1966 at Infant Jesus Academy High School in Silang, Cavite, Philippines, he pursued his studies in financing at San Beda College and Adamson University.
After graduating with a degree in Financing, he went to work for a bank in Manila and then at Silangan Savings Bank in Silang, Cavite before coming here to the U.S. Came to the U.S. in May, 1981 after getting married with Elenita on June 30, 1979 in the Philippines and have 2 great kids Camilla and Morty. He is a good, loving and caring father to our 2 kids. He enjoyed going with them to restaurants, watching movies, basketball and baseball games. Here in the U.S., he also worked for Sears and Roebuck Co. and Pacific Bell telephone Co. until he retired.
Tristan enjoys reading books and listening to music. He has a love for cats and dogs. He also collects Coca-Cola products, memorabilia's and antiques. During Christmas he loves setting up the Christmas Village and the outdoor Christmas lights.
Tristan also enjoys sports especially basketball since he was in a basketball team called The Walrus in our hometown of Silang. Tristan has many friends here and in the Philippines young and old. He loves to party and socialize with family and friends talking about the good old days. politics, experiences in life and jokes around with them.
Life is too short. Enjoy it while you can. My Tristan enjoyed life and now he has gone home with God. Don't say goodbye until then. Camilla, Morty and I will always love you. Rest in peace, Dad.
