Timm was born on December 28, 1934, in Los Angeles, California. His life was marked by dedication and love for his family. He was a devoted husband to Dot Ann Fritz and a loving father to his children: Timi Rae Teeples, Ron Devey, Randy Devey, Cindy Jensen, and Robert Devey.
Timm was a hardworking and dedicated father who made his living as a carpenter. He spent his career building and remodeling both residences and commercial buildings. His skills even took him to Disneyland, where he worked on the buildings along Main Street.
Known for his remarkable ability to fix anything, Timm was the person people turned to when something needed repairing. He spent many hours repairing cars and was always willing to help with anything that needed attention in his own home or the homes of others. Whether it was repairing a roof or replacing a garbage disposal, Timm could do it all.
Timm loved fishing, water skiing, going to car shows, anything chocolate, watching John Wayne movies and spending time with his family. After moving into assisted living he loved bingo and had developed many friendships with the bingo crowd.
Timm was a quiet man and didn’t like being the center of attention but he was a man of integrity, kindness and generosity. He left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He would drop what he was doing, no questions asked, if you needed help.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dot Ann Fritz, and his children, Timi Rae Teeples, Ron Devey, Randy Devey, and Cindy Jensen. His beloved son Robert preceded him in death. Also, survived by 21 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.
As a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, his faith was an important part of his life. We find a great source of comfort knowing that we will see him again.
Services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 267 West Weatherby Drive, Saratoga Springs, Utah.
