Glenn was welcomed into the world on January 31, 1943, in Wilmington, Delaware by his mother Grace Catherine Staub. At 18 he married the love of his life Shirley Garvey and together they had six beautiful children.
Glenn was incredibly intelligent. He was a man of many talents, anything he put his mind to he could do. He loved spending his days in the fresh mountain air, hunting, fishing in the sun or on the ice, and camping with family. He always had the fire going and the bacon started when everyone would wake. When he wasn't in the mountains you could find him listening to his favorite music, playing on or fixing his computers, cooking the best meals for his family and traveling somewhere sunny with the love of his life, Shirley. They would often just get in the car and go on the best adventures. His family always loved his home cooked meals, especially his homemade pizza. He loved inviting them over when he'd cook. Everyone would gather at the table and spend hours eating, telling stories and laughing. His silly, fun, loving ways always made those around him smile and laugh. He loved teasing his grandkids, doing magic tricks for them, giving them horsey rides, sending them home with goodies and just making them happy. He made friends everywhere he went. He was known to help many strangers and friends throughout his life, even paying for groceries at the store. At Christmas he always chose several charities to make donations to. Everyone that knew him loved him.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Yvonne Parman, his six children, Yvonne and (Mark) Schultz, Yvette and (Marty) Jones, Glenn F. Parman, Michelle and (Jerry) Lockhart, Christian Parman, Jason and (Kelly) Parman, 19 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.

Until we meet again, we love and miss you. We hope you're fishing in the sun, eating warm apple fritters and enjoying your favorite soundtrack.
When our time on earth is done, money or material things will not matter, but the love, time and kindness we've given others will shine and live on forever.
