John was born in Hudson, New York, and carried with him a lifelong curiosity about the world. He built a long and respected career working in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for over 50 years, dedicating his professional life to precision, integrity, and helping organizations maintain the highest standards.
John was a determined man who believed strongly in hard work. When he set his mind to something, he followed through and saw it done. Those who knew him knew him as a good man, hardworking, steady, and committed to the things that mattered most.
Outside of his work, John had a true love for traveling and experiencing new places, cultures, and adventures. He also had a natural love for the American West and the spirit of cowboys, which reflected his appreciation for independence and adventure. One of his favorite sayings was “It was totally awesome,” a phrase that reflected his enthusiasm for life and the moments he shared with those around him.
Above all, John was a father and grandfather. He is survived by his six children: Theresa (Hoff), Edward, Kathrine, John, Lily, and Christopher (Robbie), as well as seven grandchildren (Keaton (25), Cameron (21), Kerklyn (20), McKenna (18), Mckay (16), Zeke (10) and Phin (7)).
John will be remembered for his determination, his work ethic, and the love he had for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
