Joshua Adam Tronrud, age 43, of West Jordan, Utah, was born to Jeffrey and Linda Tronrud on May 12,1982 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Joshua was baptized into Christ on May 30, 1982, at Christ Lutheran Church in Murray, Utah. He was confirmed on March 10, 1996, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota.
Joshua grew up in Tennessee, Minnesota, and Utah. He was a graduate of Murray High School. He found joy in creating art, building computers, watching movies and shows, listening to music, playing video games, gardening, reading science fiction novels, watching Space-X launches and landings (he never missed one!), learning about science and the exploration of our solar system. Recently he fell back into love of rollerblading. He enjoyed collecting watches, vinyl LPs, and Adidas sneakers. He would take the family dog, Isabelle, for sunrise walks every day, rain, snow, or shine. He looked forward to his Saturday lunches with his friends and co-workers at Ina’s Workshop. Joshua enjoyed pursuing and earning certificates in computer technologies. He was regimented with his schedule. He was a rule follower. He was a great listener and extremely observant; he did not miss a thing! That’s why he was so good at the game Clue. Joshua did not say a lot unless it needed to be said, but he was often found humming or whistling a tune. Joshua had great love for his family and was always willing to help where needed. He is going to be dearly missed.
Above all Joshua was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Linda; his siblings, Heidi (Travis) Watson, Sarah Earhart, Jeff Jr. (Becky) Tronrud, and Miah Tronrud; his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dr. Adolph and Mary Ann Tronrud, and many aunts and uncles.
