She had myotonic muscular dystrophy, a crippling disease. I never heard her complain, even once about it.
She had an incredible personality. She never met a "stranger" because everyone that met her, loved her. She liked to play mother, even though she would never become one. She liked to take charge and manage the children around her. It was fun to watch.
Michelle was sweet, loving, and had to hug everyone she met. She loved to talk about her brothers and sisters, all of the time: Jared Soderman, Jacob Soderman, Angeline Ratigan, Patrick Ratigan, Melody Mehser, Dallas Williams, Kyle Williams, and Luke Williams.
She had a great love for our dogs, who loved and protected her in turn. It has been said that dogs have a great sense of character. I believe that to be true. I enjoyed watching our dogs protect her. It was incredible to watch.
This girl bore her way into my heart, and I will miss her until the day I see her again. Thank you, Michelle.
I love you!
