Wayne Johnson

Wayne Gust Johnson, 84, of West Valley City, Utah returned to his Father in Heaven, Sunday, January 22, 2017. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah to David Gust Johnson and Margaret Virginia Swetnam, he is survived by his sweetheart of 65 years, Erlynne Joan Parry Johnson, eleven children – David Johnson (Loretta), Diane Sorensen (James), Scott Johnson (Rachelle), Stephen Johnson (Michele), Kathleen Cole (Tom), Kimberly Walker (Marti), Paul Johnson, James Johnson (Naomi), Michael Johnson, Deborah Johnson and Judith Dixon, and many grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren; preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 1 daughter – Laura Johnson, 1 grandchild, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2101 West 3100 South, West Valley City, Utah 84119. Services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2010 West 3100 South, West Valley City, UT 84119. Viewing one hour prior to services. Internment will follow at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, UT 84065.
