Mary Alice Maynard Leggett, 68, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Mary Lorae Leggett, her mother Alice Phillips Maynard and her father William Thomas Maynard.
Mary owned and taught dancing at the Mary Alice Leggett School of Dance for 31 years. She had taught in Jacksonville, Rocky Mount and Williamston before her retirement.
She is survived by her husband Guy Leggett Jr, son Guy Leggett III of Bear Grass, her daughter Lori Guin of Greenville, and their spouse Teresa Leggett and Bart Guin, three grandchildren Guy Leggett IV, Bryce Guin and Spencer Guin.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Martin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-8:00 PM at Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville.
