Daniel Scott Vinar

Funeral services and burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8th at the Rock Island Hebrew Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Friday at 12:00 noon at Dan Vinar Furniture Company, 500 20th Street, Rock Island, following the services at the cemetery. Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

Daniel was born on November 30, 1958 in Moline, the son of Jack and Marlene (Davidson) Vinar. He married Lisa LeeAnn Kudelka on August 14, 1987 in Davenport.

Dan was the owner and operator of Dan Vinar Furniture Company in Rock Island since 1991. He loved working at the store, making many friends over the years. When he was not working, he enjoyed refurbishing old houses and cars.

Survivors (and spouses) include his wife, Lisa; mother, Marlene Vinar, Moline; children, Megan Finck, Davenport, and Dave, Michael, and James Vinar, all of Rock Island; 3 grandchildren; sister, Jackie Vinar, Moline; and brother, Gary (Becky) Vinar, Moline.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Jack Vinar.
