Audrey Bush, 79, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, attended Brooklyn College, and taught 2nd grade in Baltimore County. She moved to Melbourne, FL with her husband in 1956. Audrey was very active in the educational side of Temple Beth Shalom during its early years. Later on she was a member of Temple Israel in Viera, FL and worked with Bd. Members.
Audrey was a stay at home mom with her three children until 1973 when she started working as a travel agent. In 1978 she opened her own travel agency (A&L Travel) with two partners. After the partners left she ran the agency thru 2013. Audrey was always interested in travel and spent a great time visiting Europe and Asia. Other travel opportunities included cruises from Florida ports as well as overseas.
She is survived by her husband Norman (married 60 years), three children, Stewart Bush, I. Jeff Bush, Ellen Bush Dash, and her sister Helen Antieri as well as three grandchildren, Tracy Dash, Jack Bush, and Sarah Bush.
Memorial services will be at Temple Israel, at 7350 Lake Andrew Dr. Viera, FL 32940 on Monday, September 16 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Temple Israel.
