Bernice J Ford, 90, of Cocoa, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 28, 2016. She was born in Pottsgrove, PA on February 18, 1926. She worked as a nurse, a property manager and owned the Cocoa Beach Fish Camp which became Old Fisherman’s Warf.
Bernice was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Melody Litchfield and Rhonda Amrich; her son, Scott Ford, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; her sister, Gloria Shivler and her brothers Gleason and Jack Woodruff. Bernice is preceded in death by her husband Richard Henry Ford and her son Craig Bashore.
There will be a celebration of her life at 11am on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial. The interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
