It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Beverly Jean James, who left this world peacefully on December 9, 2025. She was a cherished daughter, granddaughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, and friend whose love and strength shaped the lives of all who knew her.
Born on January 6, 1938, to Ruby Henrietta Rogers and John Ashley Harkness, Beverly grew up grounded in family, resilience, and compassion—values she carried with her throughout her life. She was married twice, first to Richard Michael James, and later to Dominic Anthony Iannelli, each marriage marking meaningful chapters in her life.
Beverly was the devoted mother of three daughters—Sheri Adkins (Dave Adkins), Candy Patterson (Craig Patterson), and Toni Giesbrecht—who were the pride and joy of her life. Her role as “Mom” and “Grandma” was one she embraced with unwavering love, guidance, and grace.
Her legacy continues through her four treasured grandchildren— Kaitlyn Patterson, Ryan Patterson, Shelby Taylor (Todd Taylor), and Kyle Adkins—and her two great-grandchildren, Avery Taylor and Parker Taylor, each of whom brought her immense joy, laughter, and adventure. She adored them deeply and celebrated every milestone, big or small.
Beverly was a trailblazer in her professional life, dedicating 38 years to Lockheed Martin in the Aerospace division—a remarkable achievement at a time when few women worked in that field. Through her determination, work ethic, and strength, she set a powerful example for her daughters and others, showing that women can achieve anything they set their minds to. Her career was a source of pride and a testament to her perseverance and confidence.
Beyond her accomplishments, Beverly was known for her sassy sense of humor, quick wit, and spirited personality that could light up any room. She loved her husband Dominic immensely, cherished time by the ocean, and found joy in traveling around the world, creating memories and stories that will be shared for generations.
Beverly will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, resilience, and the deep and enduring love she had for her family. She touched many lives with her warmth and generosity, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to guide her daughters, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, her husband, and all her friends who were blessed to share in her life.
