I'm so glad to have known Carles. I truly enjoyed the discussions we had  about the Bible, when I would visit my aunt.  He truly was a good man.  He will be truly missed.  

Upon seeing this photo of my Uncle Carles, I was struck by his strong resemblance to his dad (my grandad). Both men loved the Lord and loved to preach. 
Uncle Carles was a wonderful man and will be missed by so many.

My Precious and Dear uncle Carles,it is with a broken heart and deep regret that I didn’t spend more time with you and now I can’t. But as we grow up our lives go in different avenues.
I have such fond memories of all the family get togethers, trap shooting, swimming in the ocean at night with you and my dad, sleeping over with you and aunt Bonnie and she would swim with me in the pond, and Sunday’s at church.
After my daddy passed I could still feel his spirit and see him when I’d look at you, hear him when you would preach but now you’re with him and I have to wait and pray I’m blessed to join you all when my time comes. 
I know they are all happy to see you and baste in the Lord’s Glory with you.

Grandpa, 
You always made me feel just like one of your own! I loved your smile, those blue eyes that just twinkled! You reminded me so much of my own grandpa and I always enjoyed the time we spent with you! You meant the world to your grandson Kyle and he always told me how much he learned from you! You were strong in your faith and always ready to preach the word whether we wanted to hear it or not! That was fine with me because I knew it came from the deepest part of your soul and it was nothing but the love you felt for us!!  I will miss all the  good times! This is not goodbye just until I see you again!!  Love you! ❤️ I’ll try to keep Kyle in line, as you know I may need a little help with that one!!  Your great grand babies were so fortunate to get to know you and they will miss you terribly! Rest easy 💙

My heart is so broken, but I will cherish all the memories we had together. We miss you dearly. We love you so much.

I have fond memories of family get together. I thank you for making my mom (Dorothy) happy for the years you were together. From your smile to your teasing and jokes . You will be truly missed.

Dad, What a wonderful and loving father you were.  You taught me as a child to be a hard worker just like you.  “Suns up kids, rise and shine”  Was your favorite saying and we did as we were told.  I’ve always had that farm girl, early riser in me and always will!  You were one of the hardest working men I’ve ever known right til the end.  You just wanted that new hip to carry on your many enjoyments of life without pain.  You wanted me to retire, so we could do woodworking and spend more time together, but I am so much like you and loved to work.  This family trait was passed onto my sons to be hard workers at a young age and are both such loving fathers and sons.  My heart is so broken, but I will cherish all the memories we had together.  You were Jimmy’s best bud and he is already lost without you, to talk Trump and politics with.  He loved you so much and knows how much you loved him! 
Until we meet again in that glorious land
