Clayton Stewart Townsend -Jett was born on December 2, 1988 at Holmes Regional in Melbourne, Florida. He was quite the athlete. He played baseball, basketball and soccer. He played for AAU teams and even travelled to the Dominican Republic to play for team USA. Clay's smile and love for people was contagious. He loved everyone. One of his biggest joys came in January of 2010 when his son Cameron was born. The smiles and laughter shared between these two is so precious. The most important part of Clay's life came about a few months ago when he gave his life to Jesus. He will be most remembered for the love he had for his family and the many people who were lost. Clay was never afraid to reach out and tell a stranger about Jesus. He was so grateful for what God had done in his life. We must also mention his hugs. If you were ever hugged by Clay you know that was special. His hugs were bear hugs. We will definitely miss those hugs and his huge smile.
Clay is survived by his son, Cameron Clayton Townsend-Jett his brother Chase William Frank Jett, his mother Stacey Kristin Jett, and his father Kelly Lynn Jett. He is also survived by his grandparents Frank and DeeDee Pannell, his Aunt Kerry Jennings, his uncle Greg Jennings, his cousin Greg Jennings Jr. his cousin Brianna Jennings, and his cousin Victoria Jennings.
