Delia graduated from Mercer University with a B.A degree in English. She earned her masters and 6th year degree in Counseling from the University of Georgia. Then spent her career in the Bibb County School System in Macon, Georgia.
She is survived by her two sons, Robert Floyd and his wife, Eileen and Steve Floyd; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm followed by funeral services at 3:00 pm Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL. Entombment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wuesthoff Hospice.
