

Dolores Ann Lane Cronk of Indian Harbour Beach, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, September 23, 2011.
Dee was born on January 15, 1939 in Kingston, NY to Edward R. and Leona Morris Lane. She was raised in the Hamlet of Lanesville, NY. She loved the Catskill Mountains and the ocean.
She married William J. Cronk on February 1, 1958. They moved to the Patrick Air Force Base in 1963.
Dee is survived by her children, Scot (Linda) Cronk of Fort Meyers, Kevin (Margot) Cronk of Melbourne and Kimberly (Mike) Young of Cartersville, GA.
Dee loved her grandchildren dearly; William and Ryan Cronk, Casey, Dylan and Katheryne Cronk, Larel and Savannah Young and Tom Schiavon. Her first great-grandchild, Charitee Ann was born on September 24, 2011. Dee is also survived by her sister, Marie Rogers of Oviedo and two nieces, Dina Roberts and Cherene Watkins and their families. Dee was predeceased by her husband, Bill and her son, Gary.
Dee was a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse for over 30 years and retired from Holmes Regional Medical Center after serving as the Assistant Director of MICU. She was a volunteer for her church and community and was a member of the Retired RN's, Red Hat Society and New Neighbors Club of South Brevard. She also proudly served as a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts.
Dee had a pure love of Christ and her faith carried her through her illness. She lived her life loving unconditionally, sharing her patience, kindness and generosity with a gentle spirit. She will be missed greatly by all who loved and knew her.
A memorial will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, September 27th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Name of Jesus on Wednesday, September 28th at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow. A special thanks to Dr. Lee Scheinbart and his staff for their excellent care during her illness.
