

She was born in Newark, New Jersey on February 10, 1939 to Steven and Helen Dusik. She was an only child.
She was baptized, received First Communion, Confirmation, and was also married at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Newark, New Jersey. After completing eighth grade, she graduated from St. Stanislaus Catholic School and later was the Valedictorian upon graduation from St. Peter’s High school also in Newark, New Jersey.
After being married for eight years and having two sons, the family relocated to Springfield, New Jersey. She was employed as an executive secretary for Anchor Sheet Metal for the next 20 years.
In 1985 she moved to Melbourne, Florida and after several years of relaxation, she began working at Brevard Geriatrics until her retirement.
During her adult life, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed Polka dancing and served as President of the Orlando Polka Magic Fan Club. She was a very active member of the Polish American Social Club of Vero Beach, Florida. In addition to her family and Polka dancing; she also loved cooking and was especially known for her famous pierogies.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Joseph Twarog, her two sons, Dr. John Potomski of Melbourne and Robert Potomski (Rita) of Gulf Breeze. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; John Potomski III, Donna Rose Potomski, Bobby Potomski, and Julie Lee as well as three great-grandchildren; Connor Potomski, Fielding Lee, and Lily Lee.
A visitation for Dolores will be held Friday March 24, 2023 from 5 to 8 pm at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, 5950 S US Hwy 1 in Rockledge, FL. The funeral service will be the following day, Saturday March 25, 2023 at 1pm Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N Harbor City Blvd in Melbourne, FL with entombment to follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 S US Hwy 1 in Rockledge, FL.
A Celebration of Life including food, music, and drinks will follow entombment at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens. All are invited to attend.
