He was born in Brighton Sussex, Great Britain on February 12, 1937.
Eric was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend; he will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Juliet; his daughter Karen, and his grandchildren Justin and Lauren. Eric is preceded in death by his son John Wharton.
There will be a Celebration of His Life held at 11am on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial. Interment will be a Florida Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at the Life Event Center. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org
